Description
English: After completing a timed, 5.2 mile ruck march with their weapons and 35 pounds of gear, followed by a timed, abbreviated version of the new Army Combat Readiness Test (ACRT), competitors of the Best Warrior Competition at Camp San Luis Obispbo, Calif., took a well earned break Sept. 14, 2011. Pictured left to right is Sgt. Jose Alves of Riverbank, Calif., a combat medic with the 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Sgt. Ryan Williams of Yucaipa, Calif., a military police officer with the 40th Military police Company, 49th Military Police Brigade, Spc. Daniel Bietz of Lincoln, Calif., a combat engineer with the 235th SAPPER Company, 49th Military Police Brigade and Sgt. Joshua Gould of Brentwood, Calif., a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) non-commissioned officer with the 95th Civil Support Team.
