Reumatismo, dermatoses e doenças das vias respiratórias.

Tratamentos/ caracterização de utentes

Horário: 8-12h e 16-20h Responsável técnico: Dr. Pedro Espinha Marques (geólogo – UP). Director Clínico: Dr. Eduardo Miranda; 4 técnicos de balneoterapia. Tratamentos: Balneoterapia: Banhos de imersão simples, imersão com duche subaquático, duche de agulheta. ORL: Irrigação, inalação; pulverização e gargarejo. “A procura é sobretudo para reumatismo e vias respiratórias, temos pulverização, inalação e irrigação. O número de aquistas anda pelos 800 e tal, 900. Uns 80% são pessoas da região, embora venha gente de fora, o ano passado tivemos dois franceses e um suíço, temos gente que vem de Lisboa, pouca, que essa vai mais para São Pedro do Sul, e gente do Porto e de Penafiel” (conversa com Manuel Soeiro)

Os programas de “bem-estar termal” e similares não estão nos horizontes da direcção destas termas, mas no entanto “há já muitos anos que temos por prática permitir três tratamentos sem ir a consulta médica.
