| Description | One of Calcutta (Kolkata)'s ubiqitous maroon/ yellow 'mini' buses. These operated a intra-city local service parallel to the regular service by the blue-yellow buses. Though a tad faster than the regular city buses, mini bus drivers are known for their suicidal tendencies. Many of the buses are battered tin cans, as is the case with a majority of buses in Calcutta, but this is one of the better specimens. (May 2009). |
