The Catalogue isconsiderably enlarged and corrected sinceit was last published in Lin. Trans, a. d.1838. Species, of which 65 to 70 are new.Their descriptions will be found, with 4or 5 exceptions only, in the Journal ofthe Bengal Asiatic Society, and that ofMr. MClelland.Talpa Micrurus. Short-tailed Mole,velvetty black, with a silvery glosswhen rubbed against the grain, andiridescent when wet.
