Locality: Sweetwater Mine (Milliken Mine; Frank R. Milliken; Blair Creek; Ozark Lead Company Mine; Adair Creek; Logan Creek), Ellington, Viburnum Trend District, Reynolds County, Missouri, USA (Locality at mindat.org)
Size: 7.2 x 4.8 x 3.2 cm.
A beautifully glassy and lustrous doubly terminated calcite crystal artfully attached to two shards of silicified limestone matrix sprinkled with sparkly, golden chalcopyrite crystals from the Sweetwater Mine of Missouri. The amber calcite crystal is transparent on the upper termination. This is a classic, tapered, doubly terminated calcite crystal from this very well-known locale. Ex. Wes Parker Collection.
