Español: 39° 54′ 50″ N 4° 17′ 11″ E - La Torre de Cala Mesquida es una torre para defensa que está situada en la playa de Cala Mesquida en Menorca. Fue construida por los ingleses, y está elevada en una roca desde la que se puede ver toda cala Mesquida. La terminaron de construir en el año 1799. Por dentro aún se conserva la escalera de caracol, empotrada en el muro de la torre. Hoy en día la torre y el recinto son de propiedad particular. Sa Mesquida registró el año 1781 el desembarco de las tropas hispanogalas para conquistar Menorca. Este ataque fracasó y la isla continuó en manos británicas, quienes construyeron en este lugar una torre de defensa (Punta de sa Torre). En total levantaron 11 atalayas por toda Menorca entre los años 1798 y 1802.

Va ser construïda pels anglesos, i està elevada a una roca des d'on es pot veure tota cala Mesquida. La van acabar de construir l'any 1799. Per dins encara es conserva l'escala de cargol, encastada al mur de la torre. Avui dia la torre i el recinte són de propietat particular. Sa Mesquida va registrar l'any 1781 el desembarcament de les tropes hispanogalas per conquerir Menorca. Aquest atac va fracassar i l'illa va continuar en mans britàniques, que van construir en aquest lloc una torre de defensa (Punta de sa Torre). En total van aixecar 11 talaies per tota Menorca entre els anys 1798 i 1802.
English: 39 ° 54 '50 "N 4 ° 17' 11" E - The Tower of Cala Mesquida is a defense tower and is located on the beach of Cala Mesquida Menorca. It was built by the English army. It was builded high on a rock from which you can see all the Cala Mesquida beach. The building was finished in 1799. Still preserved inside the spiral staircase, built into the wall of the tower. Today the tower and the grounds are privately owned. Sa Mesquida saw in the year 1781 the landing of gala hispanic troops to conquer Menorca. This attack failed and the island remained in British hands, who built this place a tower defense (Punta de sa Torre). A total of 11 watchtowers erected throughout Menorca between 1798 and 1802.
