The lady who founded thislast mosque was a slave of the Sultan, who rose tothe office of manageress of such matters as were en-trusted to the women of the palace, such as the éti-quette of weddings, the éducation of the royal chil-dren and the organisation of various cérémonies.The foundress records in the dedicatory inscriptionthat she had visited both Meccah and Medinah.
