| Description |
English: Cairn on shoulder of Twyn Du This is one of a number of small cairns on the climb from Aber to Twyn Du, although the path is clear. It provided a convenient rest spot, to take in the great view eastwards. Cloud lingered in the valleys but the wooded Buckland Hill (316 metres) put in an appearance as did the western peaks of the Black Mountains, Pen Allt-mawr (left 719 metres), Pen Gloch-y-pibwr (centre 674 metres) and Pen Cerrig-calch (right 701 metres). |
