Each crystal ball is a different, one of a kind, formed from natural (mined in Brazil) as opposed to "synthetic" quartz. Synthetic is a misnomer. It is really "cultured" quartz. It would be synthetic if it had been formed from silicon and oxygen (quartz is SiO2, chemically). Nobody has yet figured out a way to make quartz from silicon and oxygen.
