Description A cachoeira é uma antiga propriedade do Barão de Aymorés. Um desbravador que construiu esse belo casarão em meados de 1887, onde durante muitos anos funcionou um engenho de açúcar, e era tocada com mão de obra escrava. O casarão foi restaurado pelos novos proprietários. E hoje é um dos ícones da história do município de São Mateus. Mesmo nas épocas de pouca chuva, as águas que descem por aqui, despertam nos visitantes a sensação de fazer parte de mais um episódio da história do nosso país.
