Description
English: Cachet machine, "From Shaw's Pharmacy previously Hall's at the corner of Queen and Custom's St. The original pharmacy were suppliers to the shipping trade." (col.reg) The case is 4" high, 12" long 4'4" deep, has pauper label on cover top. Inside fringed lid are printed directions for use of this apparatus. Cover says in French, 'Cacheteur Limousin Brevete.' and The following which translated reads 'Indispensable for making medicinal wafers.' 1873, produced by Limousin of Paris France, $17-21. All items are included in this complete wafer-making kit. Apparatus fits into metal rings on a shelf in The case. (p-copy from Shaws Pharmacy)
