Description
English: Three MV-22 Ospreys wait for Marines with Company C, 1st Bn., 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 6, to load while a fourth Osprey begins to land at Forward Operating Base Delaram II, Afghanistan. The Ospreys inserted the Marines in a forward location in Helmand province for Operation Jaws. The operation is designed to disrupt insurgent activity in the volatile region to help the Afghan National Security Forces establish a stronger foothold in the region.
