English: The 15th Medical Bn is maintaining a field hospital at Hammond Field approx 25 miles north of Qui Nhon and is in support of elements of the 1st Air Cav Div (Airmobile) on Operation "Thayer" in the area of Bond Son, that lies to the immediate north of Hammond Field. The 15th Med Bn is capable of treatment and light surgery. PFC Jose A.
