Dansk: Korvetten "Najaden"s styrbords batteri og dæk
  • Dansk: Eckersberg udførte maleriet efter en sejltur med korvetten "Najaden" i juli 1833. Turen gik først til Bornholm og derpå syd om Møn, Falster og Lolland til det sydfynske øhav og videre til Storebælt (omhyggeligt beskrevet i dagbogen; Eckersbergs dagbøger, 2008, p. 551-55). Eckersberg påbegyndte rejsen den 7. juli 1833, og han gik i land i Nyborg den 20. juli og tog derefter dampskibet til Korsør og rejste med hestevogn tilbage til København og var hjemme igen den 22. juli.
