Description
English: An area of scorched earth where a fallen power line caused a fire lay parallel to a road in Branford, Connecticut, Aug. 28, 2020. Maj. Gen. Francis Evon, adjutant general for the Connecticut National Guard, and Governor Ned Lamont took a tour of storm damaged towns to asses how badly the recent strong winds and tornadoes wreaked havoc in the southern region of the state.
