| Description | Citybus Hong Kong Leyland Olympian 7 EB1030 is seen passing along Nathan Road wearing a promotional livery for the SOGO department store. This bus had probably the most interesting life story of any Leyland Olympian- it was new in July 1982 as the prototype ECW coach-type Olympian for National Express, it was registered ADD50Y for this role. After the trails with National Express were completed it went to Badgerline for local Swift Link work around Bristol and was sold to Citybus, Hong Kong 1988, it was fitted with air-con and used on cross border services to Shenzhen until 1991. It was then converted to open top and later had an Alexander front grafted onto its ECW body. |
