Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Project scientist Michael Haigh extracts samples of fine Merino wool from a recently delivered bale as part of his development of a commercially efficient wide crimp fine wool variety. Crimp, the little waves that occur naturally in wool fibre, have an impact on processing performance and wool quality factors such as handle, softness, shrinkage, pilling and appearance.
