| Description |
Reservation ticket for an international travel by sleeping car, issued by Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD) in 1980s. For travel between Comecon countries, the fare was always first quoted in roubles (Rbl.) but paid in local currency (Kčs = CSK). This is only a reservation ticket for the sleeping car; train ticket for the travel was always on a separate form. Sleeping cars and couchettes division was spun off the state railroads in 1990s and privatized as "JLV a.s.". In 1980s, however, they were still one company. |
