Description
English: Clipper ship sailing card, on light paper. 16.5x17 cm (6½x6¾"). Printed in red, green, and blue with gilt highlights for the Criterion Comstock's clipper line, Bates (Late of the Flying Eagle), Commander.

Rare flyer for the vessel of Comstock's clipper line, Bates (Late of the Flying Eagle), Commander. The Criteron is described as "The Splendid First-Class Clipper Ship." Pier 14 East River. An example of an oversize flyer printed on thin paper, the norm being cards on porcelain coated stock.

Also Advertised the new and elegant Guardian, Captain Samuel Borland. Pier 11 East River.
