Nederlands: Repronegatief. Voorouderaltaar in een Tanimbarees huis.
In de centrale ruimte van een Tanimbarees huis, waar de kleine kinderen slapen en waarop de andere vertrekken uitkomen, treft men het voorouderaltaar aan. Dit bestaat uit een bank, de zitplaats van de heer des huizes, met een opstaande plank in de vorm van een min of meer gestyleerd mensenfiguur met uitgestrekte armen. Hierboven bevindt zich een plank, het eigenlijke altaar, de tavu. Dit is de offerplaats voor de overledenen, die hier zetelen in de schedels van de overleden huiseigenaren. Offeranden worden op een bord naast de schedels geplaatst. Op Yamdena stelt men hier ook wel 30 cm hoge stenen of houten beeldjes op.. Voorouderaltaar en offerplaats (tavoe) in een Tanimbarees huis
