Nederlands: Negatief. Wie een blik slaat op kaart 10b van de Atlas van Tropisch Nederland uit 1938 ziet een hoge concentratie van prehistorische vondsten in Zuid-Sumatra. Dit zijn veelal grote natuurstenen monumenten, doorgaans megalieten genoemd. De benaming dolmen die men aan het type op de foto gegeven heeft komt uit de Europese archeologie, waar men naast de bekende hunebedden ook velden met los staande stenen (dolmen) onderkent. Precieze datering is nog niet mogelijk maar een ouderdom van 1500 à 2000 jaar is waarschijnlijk. Fraai bewerkte megalieten zijn te vinden op het meer naar het westen gelegen Pasemah Plateau. (P.
