Nederlands: Papieren amulet met Arabische tekst in leren tasje. Dit soort amuletten worden om de hals of pols gedragen, met name door kinderen, maar ook door volwassenen. Het dient als magische bescherming tegen het boze oog en allerlei lichamelijke en geestelijke kwalen. De inhoud van het amulet is vaak een religieuze tekst, bijvoorbeeld koranverzen en wordt door een imam of een gebedsgenezer geschreven.
Deze amulet is afkomstig van een deur die toegang gaf tot het graf van een marabout, in de omgeving van Ouarzazate (info schenker). |
