Nederlands: Repronegatief. De panglongs in Riouw exploiteerden vooral de zeer rijke en dichte mangrovebossen aan zee. Daardoor waren de transportproblemen gering. De bakauboom, behorend tot de Rhizophora familie, is ook onderdeel van de mangrovevegetatie. De foto laat zien dat het hier om dikke stammen kan gaan. De exploitatie van bakaubomen, hier in Atjeh, had een tweeledig doel. De winning van de bakaubast leverde een looimiddel op, terwijl het hout goed brandhout is en geschikt voor het maken van houtskool. (P. Boomgaard, 2001).
