Nederlands: De opname is gemaakt tijdens één van de twee verzamelexpedities die het Tropenmuseum in 1970-1971 ondernam ter voorbereiding op de grote tentoonstelling in 1971-1972, getiteld 'Samo. Een Afrikaans Savannevolk in ontwikkeling'. De expedities duurden elk drie maanden en werden uitgevoerd door de heren J.T. Broekhuijse en F.M. Cowan.
Een foto van deze les staat ook afgebeeld in de catalogus bij de hierboven genoemde tentoonstelling met het bijschrift 'In grotere plaatsen krijgen moslim kinderen onderricht in koranschooltjes' (1971: 10 en 13). |
