Nederlands: De Kuba verbouwen sinds de 17de eeuw tabak. Zowel mannen als vrouwen roken pijp. Houten pijpen hadden bij de Kuba alle een kromme steel en rijkelijk versierde koppen, zowel met oppervlaktepatronen als met figuratieve voorstellingen. Evenals de kapsels op houten drinkbekers, tonen sommige pijpenkoppen de populaire haardrachten van die tijd.
Dit exemplaar heeft een Europees aandoende pijpenkop. |
