Description
Nederlands: Negatief. Onder de Resident stonden de Assistent-Residenten, meestal tevens hoofd van een Afdeling. Solok was de hoofdplaats van een van de Afdelingen van de Residentie Sumatra's Westkust, eveneens Solok geheten. De hoogste inheemse ambtenaar was vanaf ca. 1915 een districtshoofd met de titel demang. Voor de bestuurlijke reorganisatie was er in dit gebied doorgaans sprake van bestuur door wat de Nederlanders 'volkshoofden' noemden, een soort erfelijke ambtsadel. De Residentie van Sumatra's Westkust was het gebied van de Minangkabau (of Minangkabauers), een etnische groep met een zeker faam onder antropologen vanwege hun matrilineaire verwantschapssysteem (en hun fraaie huizen). English: Negative. Among the were the Resident Assistant Residents, mostly also head of a department. Solok was the capital of one of the Departments of Residence Sumatra's west coast, also called Solok. The highest native official was from about 1915 to a district title demang. The administrative reorganization was in this area generally refers to government by what the Dutch 'chiefs' called, a sort of hereditary nobility office. The Residence of Sumatra's west coast was the area of the Minangkabau (or Minangkabau), an ethnic group with a certain fame among anthropologists for their matrilineal kinship system (and their beautiful homes).
