Description |
English: A Roman copper-alloy coin, possibly depicting Diocletian (AD284-305). Obverse: A bust depicting Diocletian facing right, with radiate crown and beard. The legible portion of the obverse legend reads: *VAL DIOCLETIANVS* Reverse: Jupiter holding a parazonium, presenting Victory to Diocletian. The legible portion of the reverse legend reads: *ONCORDIA* ThE coin is incomplete; however the find is in a generally good condition, although the inscription is worn in places. |
