English:

An incomplete (broken) uninscribed Iron Age silver unit of the Western Region (Dobunni), dating from c. 50-25 BC. 'Cotswold Eagle' type, see ABC 2015. Obverse: head right with stalk lips and a boss on chin. Reverse: possible triple tailed horse left. ABC no. 2015. BMC 2953-2962. VA 1042. About one third of the flan has been lost.
