Title
COIN
Description
English:

A fragment of a probable medieval silver coin, possibly of Henry III (1216-1272).

Obverse:

Part of a bust, possibly hair curls.

Incomplete inscription running around circumference.

Reverse:

Apparent short cross with three pellets in each quadrant.

Faint trace of legend, non-discernable.

Discussion:

Due to the condition of the coin it is not possible to discern a large amount of information. The hair curls present on the obverse bear similarities to other Henry III coins.
