Title |
COIN |
||
Description |
English: An Iron Age 'silver' stater, similar to the Abingdon Zoo type, ABC 1001 or 1004. There is some uncertainess about this coin because of its weight, at 7.17g it is very heavy compared with coins of the same date which are usually c. 1.0g. Therefore this coin maybe a lead alloy, and as it "marks paper!" it could well be a modern forgery. |
