A heavilly clipped or damaged silver hammered Roman denarius of Commodus as Caesar (AD 175-176), dating to AD 175-176 (Reece period 8). PRINC IVVENT reverse type depicting Commodus standing left, holding branch and spear with trophy behind. Mint of Rome. As Sear 5547, RIC Vol III, p 262, number 601.
