English: Edward II (1307 - 1327) silver penny. Possibly Class 13 (1315 - 1317) London mint. Obv. [E]DWR ANGL DN[S HYB]. Bust facing forward. Crowm with straight-edged central fleur and arrowhead left ornament. Wedges for drapery. Initial cross clipped off. Rev. [CIVI]TAS LONDON. Long cross pattée with three pellets in each angle. Heavily clipped above bust. Bust and cross very worn. |
