English:

Cut silver penny of Edward the Martyr (975-978). The coin has been cut directly in half. The obverse shows cloak and radiate crown facing left with EADPARD extant in the legend. The reverse shows half of the small cross pattee and the moneyers name BOIA. No.763 (North 1994).
