A silver Roman denarius of Marcus Aurelius (AD 161-180) as caesar, dating to the period c.AD 154-155 (Reece period 7). TR POT VIIII COS II reverse type depicting Minerva standing left holding owl in right hand, spear and shield in left. Mint of Rome. As RIC III, no. 463B.

Diameter 18mm, thickness 2.6mm and weight 2.37g.
