Description

GREAT LAKES, Ill. (June 29, 2017) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. John Richardson talks with recruits during “Pizza Night” in the galley of the USS Triton recruit barracks at Recruit Training Command (RTC). CNO and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Steven Giordano toured RTC facilities, including the Navy’s largest simulator USS Trayer (BST 21), a 210-foot-long replica of an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer recruits use for their final training evolutions, known as Battle Stations, before graduating from the Navy’s only boot camp.
