Object history
Français : Depuis le 1er juillet 2006, sous le nom de Villarzel, la fusion des trois communes de Rossens, Sédeilles et Villarzel est devenue officielle.

Les nouvelles armoiries ont repris un élément de chacun des anciens blasons. L’étoile vient des armoiries de Rossens. Triplée, elle rappelle le nombre de communes fondatrices. La tour de Villarzel met en valeur le monument le plus connu de la région. C’est l’élément identitaire.

De Sédeilles, l’héraldiste a repris l’organisation générale de l’écu (en symétrie verticale avec inversion des émaux), de façon à affirmer l’unité du nouvel ensemble.
