Français : Au cours de son histoire, le nom du village a subi des modifications; sa mention latine de Lulliacum apparaît dans un document en 1018, puis suivent les transformations, en 1177 Lulli; en 1228 Lulie; en 1453 Lulliez et finalement Lully. Dès 1018, Lully dépendait de l'Abbaye de Saint-Maurice d'Agaune et cela jusqu'en 1536. Ensuite Lully était sous le joug bernois jusqu'en 1798. Ce n'est qu'en 1927 que les autorités de Lully adoptèrent des armoiries. Le projet reprend les armoiries des Mayor de Lully, en y supprimant les trois roses, mais en ajoutant la croix fléchée de St-Maurice. |
