Description Shortly after reaching the flight deck, this CH-53E Super Stallion took-off. It was still early morning on December 23rd and the sun was low. That explains the long exposure and the full rotors. The CH-53E belongs to HC-4 'Black Stallions', based at NAS Sigonella in Italy. A few months later HC-4 started transitioning to MH-53E Sea Dragons.
