The name of the depicted man was written on the backside of this CDV. (Can someone please decipher it?)

Vladimir Barkanov (Владимир Барканов) was one of the Georgian pioneers and masters of photography. In the early 1870s he was listed as a photographer from Kutaisi. Later he opened a studio in Tbilisi. In the 1880s he sold his photo studio. Barkanov was famous for his views of Caucasus and he made huge contributions to the development of ethnographic photography . He died in Teheran 1892.
