  • Dansk: Da Lorentzen udstillede maleriet på Salonen i 1815, blev lokaliteten bestemt som Wolmar, dvs. i Valmiera i Letland. Den generelle opfattelse er nu, at slaget fandt sted i Tallinn i Estland. Georg Haas udførte en stikgengivelse af motivet ("Kong Valdemar II's navnkundige slag ved staden Wolmar i Letland, 1219", KKSgb12134).
