Description
English: JERAM SISIK, Malaysia (June 24, 2009) Malaysian Army Maj. Norul Hisyam, deputy commander of the 8th Royal Ranger Regiment, shows the distinctions between edible and poisonous plants to Marines from 1st Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, as part of a jungle survival course during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Malaysia 2009. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and six Southeast Asia nations designed to enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
