Deutsch: Der Wagenzug steht auf einen nicht mit dem Netz verbundenen Gleisstück. Er ist nicht nur Dekoration, der letzte Wagen ist die Fahrkartenausgabe. Immerhin ist sie noch in Betrieb, wenn der Schienenersatzverkehr zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt mit nur zwei täglichen Fahrten sehr dünn ausfällt. Das Bahnsteiggleis liegt links vom Bahnsteig, eine Umsetzmöglichkeit wurde etwas weiter nördlich eingerichtet. Die Wagen stammen allerdings, erkennbar an den Kupplungen, aus Thessalien. Dass die Sanierung der Strecke Kórinthos–Kalamata und der Zweigstrecke Árgos–Náfplion fünf Jahre dauern würde und dass das Meterspurnetz anschließend nach nur eineinhalb Betriebsjahren geschlossen würde, ist zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt nicht vorstellbar. Es war ein großer Sieg der Kfz-Lobby und die EU, die die Sanierungsarbeiten erst förderte, hat ersterer tatkräftig geholfen. |
