Place of creation London: George Routledge and Sons, The Broadway, Ludgate. London: Bently and Co., Printers. 149p. With eight pages of publisher’s titles bound at the end.
Notes Orange/ yellow paper over boards. White endpapers and pastedowns, all printed with publisher’s titles. Robin de Beaumont noted: “[Book purchased from] 19th Century Books 8.2012 £38.20” The lower cover has an advertisement for “George Roberts, Ready Made linen, machines or hand-made. 183, Oxford Street, London, W.” The illustration on the upper cover shows Mrs. Brown on a tricycle, riding through central Paris, watched by a gendarme; with a fountain and buildings (Place de la Concorde?) in the background. The lettering is: “/ Mrs. Brown’s/ Visits to Paris/ by Arthur Sketchley./ London: George Routledge & Sons/” The spine has the title along its length, with 1/- at the head. This book acquired with the generous assistance of the British Library Collections Trust. Another copy of this work in the de Beaumont collection is at shelf mark C188a582. Another copy (probably) of this work is at British Library shelf mark 12316bb72.
