|notes =  Yellow paper over boards. The page facing the title page has a list of titles in the Mrs. Brown series. The lower cover has an advertisement for: “Barnes Amor/ Wine Merchant/ London/ Fine Claret/ Sample Bottle 1/=/ 12s. per doz./ Twelve Dozen £7.00/ Omnia vincit Amor./” – all in yellow letters within green dyed cartouches. A ditty accompanies the advertisement: “ Of all Wine Merchants in the Town,/ None have greater fame, or/ Ever had a like renown,/ To the Bond Street Hero, Amor./ The choicest wine his cellar boast, From France, Spain and the Douro,/ His name is known round Britain’s coast,/ From John o’ Groats to Truro./ His flag unfurl’d, his crest is known/ His courage non can tame, or/ Ever doubt, for all must own/ That “Omnia vincit Amor.”/ Virgil.”  The upper cover is printed in colours. The illustration shows Mrs. Brown running down a hill, being supported (or urged on) by two boys each side of her. The title is in red letters at the head: “/ ‘Oliday [sic]/ Houtings [sic]/ by/ Mrs. Brown [in black letters]/” a small dog’s head peeps out from Mrs. Brown’s dress. At the tail is : “Arthur Sketchley.” The spine has along its length: “Mrs. Brown’s ‘Oliday outings – one shilling in black letters. De Beaumont notes: “[Book purchased at] Royal National Sept 2015 £15”. This book is in fine condition – barely opened. This book acquired with the generous assistance of the British Library Collections Trust.
