Notes On the upper pastedown, there is the small square bookplate of Robin de Beaumont. His notes on this copy are written on the upper endpaper recto. Cream/ white paper over boards, over printed in red. Both covers have the same design. On the upper cover at the head, the words: “How to spin for pike” are printed in ‘highlighted’ letters, in a semi-circle. At the tail are printed”: H. Cholmondeley Pennell. 1s.” On the centre, a fisherman’s tackle is depicted, with numerous barbs. The spine is not lettered. This book acquired with the generous assistance of the British Library Collections Trust. Other copies (probable) are at British Library shelf marks 7906a21; 7906a8.
