Description A U.S. Air Force Douglas YC-124B-DL Globemaster II (s/n 51-072) transporting parts of the PGM-11 Redstone rocket. The YC-124B was a C-124A fitted with four Pratt & Whitney YT-34-P-6 turboprop engines of 5,500 hp each, this also required a stengthened and enlarged tail. The aircraft made its first flight on 2 February 1954.
