An image of Triton's surface

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This image of Triton's surface focuses on the "cantaloupe terrain," a vast complex region of heavily tectonized terrain. Multiple major faults can be seen. From the left extends Ho Sulci, before it crosses Kormet Sulci and gives way to Lo Sulci. Lo Sulci then terminates at the vertically-running Ob Sulci, forming a T-shape junction at the center-left. At the upper portion of the image, Slidr Sulci and Tano Sulci form an X-shaped cross, whilst a fainter X-shaped junction is formed by Ob Sulci and Boynne Sulci at the bottom of the image. A final X-shaped cross is located at the right of the image, formed by Slidr Sulci and Yasu Sulci, which gives way to Leipter Sulci.
