Français : Carte postale - intérieur de la chapelle de la compagnie belge sur l'île de Cézembre.

Description du musée de Bretagne : "Carte postale avec animation de l'intérieur de la chapelle de la Compagnie belge dans l'île de Cézembre. A droite, une statue de la Vierge Immaculée Conception et à gauche un tableau avec une liste des cantiques et des chants liturgiques."

Au dessus de la statue de la vierge figure l'inscription "je suis l'immaculée conception" ; au dessus de l'autel, paré de cinq drapeaux figure l'inscription latine "venite adoremus" (venons l'adorer). Un homme en habits militaire se tient à gauche.

L'île de Cézembre est concédée à l'armée belge durant la Première Guerre mondiale (alors que le pays est occupé par les Allemands), pour y installer une colonie disciplinaire, d'août 1915 à décembre 1918. Ils sont sous la responsabilité du capitaine commandant Henri Hallart. Ils restaurent l'oratoire de Saint Brandan et construisent en octobre 1918 un autel qui permet d'y célébrer la messe.
