Description

Détail de la couverture du pamphlet antisémite de Louis-Ferdinand Céline Les Beaux Draps. La mention 26e édition est une méthode de vente des éditeurs pendant la guerre, pour faire croire dès la sortie de l'ouvrage que celui-ci est un best-seller. Gallimard procédait aussi de cette manière.

Il s'agit d'un exemplaire de l'édition originale publiée en 1941. Il a énormément vécu depuis l'Occupation, ce qui explique l'usure de l'ouvrage, qui a par ailleurs servi de support à des opérations basiques de mathématiques.
