[edit]DescriptionBy the airfield (49252734557).jpg |
A Mercedes E320 V6 turbo-diesel standing beside RAF Kinloss in Scotland, 2010. The aircraft is a maritime-patrol Nimrod which the RAF used between 1969 and 2011. Three other Nimrods can be seen on hard standings in the distance. They have all since been retired. The forward fuselage of this aircraft can be seen and entered at nearby Morayvia an excellent air museum which has several aircraft and other items of aviation interest. |
